Music is integral to our worship at St. Andrew’s. We offer traditional hymns from Episcopal hymnals (Hymnal 1982, Wonder Love & Praise, Voices Found, and Lift Every Voice and Sing), and are exploring other music resources to inspire singing and praise as part of our worship.
Terrie Backes is our Music Director and Bob Backes is our Associate Musician.
The choir leads the congregation in singing hymns, service music, and anthems at the 10 am service. Choir members, from left to right: Laura Smith, Kristine Follett, Linda Rachel, Carolyn Fisher, Janice Carter, and Eve Harrington.
Our musicians perform on a Rodgers Trillium T837 organ and a Baldwin grand piano. Local guest musicians occasionally participate in special services.
