Live music will set a peaceful, introspective mood for a candlelit Community Labyrinth Walk on the summer solstice, Thursday, June 21, 7:30-8:30pm. St. Andrew’s talented musicians Anthony Flesch and Wiley Beveridge will play flute and piano, and Beveridge will sing during the event.
Walking a labyrinth is a sacred ancient practice found in spiritual traditions around the world. Some Native Americans call the labyrinth Mother Earth and view it as the universal plan of the Creator, which all of us must walk on this road of life. For some people the walk is a metaphoric pilgrimage. For others it provides peace, healing, or spiritual insight. There is no prescribed religious rite or intention.
This community event is free and open to the public, so bring your neighbors and friends!
