An event every week that begins at 8:45am on Monday, repeating indefinitely
Nearly every class starts with stretches on the floor, then a brief pranayama (controlled breathing) practice, then an active physical practice including sun salutes and standing balance poses.
Attention is paid to proper alignment, especially of the knees, low back, and shoulders. When practicing challenging poses, alternatives are offered for people with various skill levels and physical limitations, so all levels of students are welcome.
Each class ends lying on our backs, taking a moment to notice the benefits of our practice.
