“The Real Teacher”. A talk by Swami Chidatmananda of India

Swami Chidatmananda is a spiritual teacher from Hyderabad, India, who emphasizes the oneness (non-duality) of all beings. He is an Acharya (Teacher in Charge) of Chinmaya Mission, an outgrowth of the life-long dedication and spiritual teachings of the renowned Vedantic Master, His Holiness Swami Chinmayananda.
Swamiji’s teachings on Devotional Love appear in the new book, The Power of Love: A Transformed Heart Changes the World (2019), launched at the 125th Parliament of the World’s Religions and dedicated to Dr. David R. Hawkins, longtime Sedona resident and respected worldwide as a spiritual teacher by people of every faith. Professor Fran Grace, author of the book, will introduce Swamiji. Priest Monica Whitaker, Rector of St. Andrews, will welcome the gathering. Event is free and open to the public. All donations will be given to St. Andrew’s church.
Swami Chidatmananda committed his life to spiritual service in 1989, after graduating from law school. He is well-known on Indian television, where he illumines the meaning of ancient Hindu scriptures for modern times. He also conducts sessions for government organizations, management schools, and medical clinics. Each year, he tours the United States, endearing himself to diverse audiences with his joy and humor, speaking on topics such as stress reduction, self-management, ethics, and meditation.
